Personal Experience
Andy Galler is a healthcare strategist, scientific storyteller, and physician-engagement advisor with deep experience helping healthcare organizations communicate value, prepare markets, and support the adoption of innovative therapies and services.
With a background in chemistry, filmmaking, advertising, and life sciences commercialization, Andy brings a rare ability to translate complex clinical concepts into practical, compelling narratives for healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, marketers, and advocacy groups.
Andy began his career producing and directing national television commercials before moving into pharmaceutical communications. Recognizing the need for better market education and clearer clinical storytelling, he founded Alpha Medica, which grew into a 100-plus-person healthcare agency serving the life sciences industry.
He later founded Thoraxx, a firm focused on helping developers of innovative therapies prepare the market before regulatory approval by engaging thought-leader physicians, identifying unmet needs, and developing adoption strategies.
Andy has collaborated on the launch of more than 40 healthcare products, including Botox for migraine, Herceptin for breast cancer, and Lyrica for neuropathic pain. His experience makes him especially valuable to physician-owned practices, specialty healthcare businesses, and healthcare entrepreneurs seeking to clarify their positioning, strengthen market messaging, and prepare for strategic growth or transition.
